Their people who complain about always getting rejected from the grant. I'll also show you things which cause for rejection of the grant.


Sassa has a system that can actually detect when someone has an income of above R624. The automated system gets lot of people rejected from receiving this SRD grand. The other reason that gets people rejected is NSFAS, Once you're on NSFAS database even if you're no longer getting it but you have an outstanding balance, the system will report as alternative income. Or if you're registered for tax contributions, that can trigger the system to reject you. 


And when you're having money from UIF that you haven't claimed, This will automatically gets you rejected for the reason of alternative income. To deal with this kind of matter you have to claim your funds from UIF.


And if you feel you were rejected unfairly, you can make an appeal here


Sassa gives you an opportunity that if you were rejected unfairly you still have an opportunity to appeal the decision. And they will recheck again if you indeed qualify, if you qualify, the appeal might approve you.
