How to renew PSiRA certificate


 This is how to renew your Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) certificate online.



A lot of security guards struggle with how to renew their psira online. We will show step by step on how to renew your psira.



Log into your psira or online Psira digital services portal, select - Service Request. Inside Service Request go to Certificate renewal. You will be given the option to pay the required fee (which is typically around R64). You don't need to wait for your certificate to expire before you can apply for the renewal, You can start the renewal for up to 90 days before the certificate expire.



Before payment you'll need to accept the terms and fill in your details to make payment. The time takes for your certificate to be available after payment is typically processed immediately or within hours from the time payment is made. Unless if they're any background queries or if it requires manual office processing. 



The PSIRA Certificate must be renewed after every 2 years. Please ensure your online profile matches with your documents to avoid every possible error before payment. 





When your done with the payment, you will be given the option to download your renewed digital certificate directly to your phone, once in your phone, you can go and print it out.
